Brunch, etc.

We love portmanteau words!  Those are words that are formed when two separate words are brought to make one new one.  
Don't = do + not 
spork = spoon + fork
One of my (Chris) family's favorite ones has been
brunch = breakfast + lunch
I wish I could have that ever day!
Some others that I discovered (and was reminded about) from wikipedia the other day:
Spygate = regarding the 2007 New England Patriots spying incident
Billary = pejorative use of Bill + Hillary
Scrooge = Charles Dickens apparently crafted this from screw + gouge
