Our New Lake Calhoun

Chris' parents and one of his brothers were visiting this past weekend, and they took us to the Dallas Arboretum.  It was located on  the shores of White Rock Lake, and it was a beautiful oasis in the midst of the dry Dallas landscape. We're calling White Rock our new Lake Calhoun and we are looking forward to getting back into the habit of our "walkie talkies" that we enjoyed so often around the city lakes in Minneapolis!
