Retirement and Protests in France

High schoolers across France have been protesting the French government's elevating the retirement age from 60 to 62 or even higher to 67.  We have surmised that the high schooler's chief argument is that today's unemployment rate in France will be even higher because it will be difficult for them to find jobs when people delay their retirement.

We saw students in our town protesting yesterday, with some violence involved, as reported by our local paper.  The schools have been blocked almost all this week.
