Cameroon: No More Night Driving

This article supplies the following facts:
  • About 12,000 people died in traffic accidents last year, many alcohol-related
  • Another roughly 12,000 were injured in road accidents
  • Night travel accounted for 35% of those accidents
  • Only about 20% of Cameroon's roads are tarred
  • Today Cameroon bans night-time public transportation

    This really is in your best interest. Driving at night is definitely the scariest, most dangerous thing we do in Senegal. We try to avoid it at all costs!
