More Implicatures

While we were driving yesterday....
E (from the passenger seat): Are you staying awake?

C (from the driver's seat): I was pulled into the rumble strip because of a groove in the pavement.

C's Implicature: Yes.  I didn't fall asleep but was pulled into the side of the road.
