CNN discovered what we either know by experience or suspect intuitively: $10 around the world holds different value. But what does $10 buy you around the world? Here is their pictoral summary:
At least that spending $10 on seeds goes much further than buying $10 of veggies in the store! The article said that the WI person bought 350 spinach seeds - that's a load of spinach!
But, then again, $10 in the Philippines gets you groceries for 2 days - more agri-diversity than just spinach.
Perhaps in the future we'll be able to purchase food and groceries online from a grocery store anywhere in the world and have Simon or someone deliver it to us!
So I guess the best place to spend a tenner is Wisconsin since seeds will serve me a lot longer than any of the other things?
