Just discovered Sandra Nkaké today in reading a French magazine about Africa called Jeune Afrique. She recently finished a world tour and posted several of her songs online, making her possibly one of the most famous Cameroonian singer today and giving us a great opportunity to learn some about Cameroonian culture.
Here is her in Marseille, France in 2008, a town a bit southwest of us and on the Mediterranean Coast, singing a song of her desire to return to Africa. She mixes French and English in her songs, and exhibits incredible emotional depth.
