According to Voice of America, whereas Ethiopia had been adopting out about 50 orphans per day, now they will process a maximum of 5 a day, translating into only about 500 adoptions to the US from Ethiopia per year. That policy is to begin March 10, this week.
This means longer wait times and fewer children being adopted from a country of an estimated 5 million orphans. And more fuel for prayer and faith in a great God who does the miraculous.
