At a workshop in 2012 in Ethiopia, Nyangatom team members worked to discern the grammatical structures in their language. As part of this workshop, the team worked on a draft translation of Luke 5, including the verse translated above - some of the first verses of the Bible translated into Nyangatom!
We rejoice that today the Nyangatom are moving ahead with the Bible translation, and we are excited to serve with them to strive for an accurate translation. Chris is eager to take up his role on the team: to help in biblical languages, translation principles, and organization of the project.
