Hallelu-Yahweh!**
Shout praise to our God!
What a workshop this has been,
these virtual days together—10!
July has zoomed by littered with alliteration,
parallelism, personification, repeated repetition.
The PowerPoints presented points,
loaded with skopos considerations.
No need to here shift in person,
this poems remains in third person.
The Lord has been good to us,
Time for breakout room discussion!
To say some more, should we add a hinge transition?
Was that a leading or rhetorical question?
M*, M* and Chris,
What joy for us to be of service
in India in dia-logue with you,
dear brothers and sisters.
As this poem ends in emotive climax,
we’ve one last refrain for poetic effect:
Translate to resonate,
Let the nations praise you, o God!
